Australian South Sea cultured pearls
are generally
considered to be among the best pearls in the world.
It takes two years of care to nurture
and coat the nacre of our pearls. It is no surprise that Australian
pearls are very well regarded for their quality and are worth higher
prices because they have the lustre and sheen of natural pearls.
During the late 19th century experiments
in pearl culture were carried out in north Queensland, Australia in
an area located in the Torres Strait
Round pearls or cultured pearls have
been exported continuously for nearly 50 years from Friday Island, since
culture pearling was established on the island by a Japanese group in
1960.
The current proprietor of the Kazu pearl
farm is Mr Kazuyoshi Takami.
A Kazu pearl adds an individual character
to each jewellery designed and handcrafted to high standards using selected
pearls and quality fittings.
Make a choice of our South Sea cultured
pearl jewellery and cherish them with care.
